Welcome to Alura Scents! The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Alura Scents. Alura Scents operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services offered to you (the “Services”).

Alura Scents is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”), together with any policies referenced herein, describe your rights and responsibilities when you access or use the Services.

Please read these Terms carefully. By visiting, interacting with, or using our Services, including purchasing products from our store, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Returns & Refunds Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use or access the Services.

However, colours and product appearance may vary slightly depending on your device, screen settings, lighting, and other factors.

Fragrance perception is subjective and may vary from person to person. Product descriptions and fragrance notes are intended to provide a general representation of each fragrance and do not guarantee that every customer will perceive a scent in the same way.

All product descriptions, pricing, availability, and other product information may be changed at any time without notice.

We reserve the right to discontinue products or limit quantities available for purchase where reasonably necessary.

SECTION 3 – PRODUCT USE AND SAFETY

Alura Scents fragrance products must be used in accordance with the instructions provided with the product or on our website.

Our fragrance oils are not intended for consumption or direct application to the skin. Keep products away from children and pets.

The bottle should remain securely closed and upright while hanging, except when briefly tilted as instructed to allow fragrance oil to saturate the wooden diffuser cap.

Avoid contact between fragrance oil and vehicle surfaces. Fragrance oils may stain, discolour, or damage certain plastics, leather, vinyl, fabrics, painted surfaces, or other materials. Any spilled fragrance oil should be cleaned immediately.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Alura Scents is not responsible for damage caused by spills, improper installation, misuse, excessive saturation of the wooden cap, failure to follow instructions, or other improper handling of the product.

SECTION 4 – ORDERS

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase products from Alura Scents.

We reserve the right to accept, refuse, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including because of product availability, suspected fraud, payment issues, pricing errors, incorrect product information, or other circumstances affecting our ability to fulfill the order.

Payment must be successfully authorized before an order can be processed.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it. Once an order has entered processing or has been shipped, we may be unable to accommodate cancellation or modification requests.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the applicable amount.

Purchases are subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy.

SECTION 5 – PRICES, PROMOTIONS AND BILLING

All prices displayed on our website are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices, discounts, promotions, and product availability may change without notice.

The price charged for a product will be the price displayed when the order is placed, subject to the correction of errors as permitted by applicable law.

Because fragrance preference is subjective, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges solely because a customer does not like a particular fragrance.

Nothing in these Terms or our Returns & Refunds Policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

SECTION 8 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Services and their content, including the Alura Scents name, ALURA branding, logos, designs, photographs, graphics, product descriptions, text, video, and other original materials, are owned by Alura Scents or used with permission and may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms permit you to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, sell, commercially exploit, or otherwise use our protected content without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

All third-party trademarks, names, logos, and other intellectual property appearing through the Services remain the property of their respective owners.

Alura Scents is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer the Services.

However, purchases made through our store are transactions directly between you and Alura Scents.

Shopify is not the seller of Alura Scents products and is not responsible for the products sold through our store, subject to any responsibilities Shopify may independently have under applicable law.

SECTION 12 – PRIVACY

Personal information collected through the Services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Because our store is hosted by Shopify, certain information may be collected, processed, stored, or transmitted by Shopify and other service providers involved in operating our website, processing payments, fulfilling orders, providing analytics, preventing fraud, or otherwise providing the Services.

Occasionally, information available through the Services may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, availability, shipping charges, delivery estimates, or other information.

If an error materially affects an order you have already placed, we will address the situation in accordance with applicable law.
